Newby Fun Factory is an Out of School and Holiday setting. We cater to children from the ages of 3-12 years old. We are open 7.45am-8.50am, 3pm-6pm during term time; and 8am-6pm during school holidays. You can find us at Newby and Scalby Primary School, which is our home base.

Out of School Club
Before School
Fun Factory opens its doors, term time, from 7.45am for all children who attend Newby Early Years and Newby and Scalby Primary School. Our entrance is via the Junior School entrance, all signposted clearly on the school. Children can be dropped off into our care until 8.30am, when we prepare and guide the children down to their classrooms.
During this session, children can socialise with their friends, explore the wide range of activities available, including the outdoor area to burn off some energy, or if not fully awake yet, chill out on the sofas with a DVD.
The morning session includes a choice of breakfast snack- cereal, toast, tube yogurt and fresh fruit.
After School
Fun Factory reopens from 3pm – 6pm, term time, ready to collect children as the school day finishes. Staff collect children from all classrooms to guide them to Fun Factory. We do accept children from other schools, if you are able to provide your own suitable transport to the setting.
The After School session provides the children time to relax and have fun with their friends away from the structure and routines of school. Children can choose from the range of activities both inside and out, creating an exciting session for themselves, until they get collected. We also provide healthy and tasty snacks for all children every session.
